Formerly known as Thebes, Luxor was the capital of the New Kingdom and a focal point of the ancient world. The Temples on the East bank, where the sun rises were built for the living and the Tombs on the West bank where the sun disappears, were built for the dead. Day 1 – 20/May Drive from Hurghada to Luxor. Visit of the West Bank Valley of the Kings with it’s glorious painted tombs. Here you will see the twin clossi of Mamon and the mortuary of Queen Hatsheput, visit the famous tombs of the kings of Egypt. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch felucca sail on the Nile, special Med Red felucca race. in the evening there is an option to attend the Sound & light Show at Luxor Temple. We will spend the night at a 4 star hotel on the Nile in Luxor. Day 2 – 21/May After breakfast  visit the fabulous temple of Karnak with the huge and beautifully inscribed columns, amongst them stands the giant statue of Egypt’s famous pharaoh – Ramses. After lunch we will continue to visit Luxor Temple, and free time in the Luxor market. Travel back to Hurghada marina. Price: €170 p/person in dbl room.            €195 p/person in single room.            €150 p/child under 12 sharing parents room.
