Day 1 – 3/June – Drive from Herzeliya to Sheikh Hussein bridge border, crossing procedures to enter Jordan. Drive to Jerash-city of the Decapolis, located about 45Km North of Amman. Visit the ancient Roman city with colonnaded streets, the baths and the hill top Temple. Drive to Madba to see the ancient mosaic map of the Holy Land and ruins of historical sites. Continue to Mt. Nebo from where Moses viewed the Promised Land, and from where you will see the Jordan Valley, Jericho and the Dead Sea. Visit the remains of a Byzantine Church. Continue to Wadi Musa, the modern village of Petra for dinner & Overnight in Hotel.
Day 2 – 4/June – After an early breakfast , Enter Petra through Al-Siq, a winding trail at the bottom of a natural deep canyon, at the end of which reveals itself the most famous Treasury monument . Hear story of the Nabateans who have established Petra as their capital on the “Spice Route”. Visit the most interesting monuments, such as the world famous Treasury, El Khazan (a tomb of a Nebatean king) the field of tombs obelisks. Lunch break at a local restaurant on site. Afternoon drive back North to Sheikh Hussein crossing and back to marina Herzeliya.
